A month to breathe

I looked at the month of October today because I needed to schedule hours for our sitter.  We have therapy here at the house 3 days a week every week but other than that we only have 1 surgery and 1 doctors visit. How did I get so blessed? I'm so excited. Now, I know that could all change, but for now I am rejoicing in a non busy month. Yay! AJ has a birthday next month so it will be good not to have so many appointments. Maybe we can even find time to get away for weekend?

Judah continues to get healthier and healthier every day. His progress is amazing. In fact, at school his teacher said they needed to call a new ARD because he achieved all the goals set for the school year. Ha! How about that?! His therapist said the same thing. He has started speech therapy and we will be trying a dynavox next week. I'm very excited. He is communicated now just non verbally. For instance, he pointed to the toy story dominoes we have and then at the tv. He wanted to watch toy story. Then he goes to the cupboard and points to the bowls. Then he goes and gets his soup. I make him sign. "I want soup please." And he does! He is laughing and smiling more and more. He is even opening his mouth to laugh. The kid is freaking amazing! I'm so blessed to be his mom. I can not wait  until he speaks and I am declaring right now in Jesus name my child will speak!

Misha is getting spunky. He to is doing very well in therapy and has been amazingly healthy.  He has the ability to tell a person off without uttering a word. You get the eye blink and then he will turn around shake his butt at you and slap his buttcheeks lol. I have no idea where he gets this from. I can't believe how blessed I am to have this little boy.  In speech therapy he is talking a lot but not so much when we aren't having therapy. It will come in time. I can't believe how healthy he has been.  We started on essential oils and I have been diffusing thieves after the therapists leave or at the first sight of  anything.

Everyone has been doing really well. I am blessed.

What a difference

The boys have been home 14 months now. We are all doing so well. God is restoring what the locust has stolen from both boys.
Misha is talking up a storm. He is loving his ST, OT and PT he gets several times a week. He loves the ipad and doing amazing.
Judah is vocalizing more and more. He too loves his PT, OT and ST and already needs his goals changed because he has met the goals in just a couple weeks time. He is loving school, life, people, eating soup. He is a completely different child. It is amazing.
I am so blessed to have both these children as my own.
