Update

We have been very busy so we haven't updated the blog in awhile. Sorry. Things are going...well they are going. 

Micah is now in public school and loving it. Today was his first day. He was so excited about it. His teacher is very nice. I spent some time in the classroom. I can't wait to see how this goes. I feel very at peace with this decision.

Trinity placed 3rd in the state of Texas in youth girls barebow archery. We are very proud of her. She got a metal and a netbook for school. She is doing very well and is currently writing a novel she hopes to finish by Christmas. 

Sarie is reading very well and AJ is writing better. 

Noah and Misha are learning more and more each day. Noah will be four years old soon! I can't even believe that. They both love cars and trucks and are becoming best buds. 

Charidy is loving life and playing outside. She does well in her studies and loves all things science. 

Judah, I left him for last because there is a lot going on with him. I don't think any of us knew truly how brittle his bones were until Monday.  We went on vacation for a few days so Trinity could do her state championship. Judah had a blast. He was laughing and smiling and walking, trying to run. He was amazing. It was beautiful. He even played with horses. He wasn't happy to come back home. Long story short he threw a fit and that resulted in him breaking two more bones. I nearly passed out when they told me. The drs said he needed surgery right away. Then they came back to tell us his bones would crumble with surgery. He needed treatment for the nines but can't get treatment for them until he has no breaks. But he will continue to break until treatment. Can we say catch 22?! So now we wait til next week to get casted. They also did a full body X-ray and ask abuse type questions. We were cleared of any wrong doing and the breaks fit with wheat I was saying happened. Of course we were cleared we didn't do anything. We can only hope he has learned his lesson this time and will no longer hurt himself. 

Judah was to have testing to get into school but we had to reschedule due to his breaks. Hopefully soon he can start school and be happier. I'm just glad we now know how incredibly fragile he is due ONLY to the malnourishment and neglect he suffered in the Pleven orphanage. Doctors agree. If we had his teeth removed or worked on his jaw bone would have crumbled! Pleven makes me angry. I can't go there. 

Lastly, a bit of good news. We were able to sell 51 t shirts and made 328.00 (I believe) for the woman and her sone with Down syndrome who beg not he streets of Sofia. That amount of money can change a life there. Thank you all so much!

Paul and I are selling t shirts to support a mother and her son with Down syndrome living in Bulgaria. She is an older widowed woman and her son is twenty years old. She kept him  and raised him ina. Time and a country where that is simply unheard of. I will be sending the proceeds from the sales to her through a missionary I met while in Bulgaria.

Love with abandon

Jeremiah 22:16 

                              He defended the cause of the poor and needy,
                                                      and so all went well.

                                                               declares the Lord.

       Religion that is pure and undefiled before God, the Father, is this: to visit orphans and widows in                    their affliction, and to keep oneself unstained from the world. James 1:27 

He is five and just arrived to the mental hospital a few months ago. Why? Simply because he is five and hasn't been adopted yet.

He is seven. In a crib and as small as a two year old. 

These children are all over eighteen and not able to be adopted anymore.

She is twenty eight years old and the size of a seven year old. 

Exodus 22:22-24

You shall not mistreat any widow or fatherless child. If you do mistreat them, and they cry out to me, I will surely hear their cry, and my wrath will burn, and I will kill you with the sword, and your wives shall become widows and your children fatherless.

Isaiah 1:17 

Learn to do good; seek justice, correct oppression; bring justice to the fatherless, plead the widow's cause.

Give justice to the weak and the fatherless; maintain the right of the afflicted and the destitute. 

   Psalm 82:3 

Job  29:12

   Because I delivered the poor who cried for help, and the fatherless who had none to help him.

In all things I have shown you that by working hard in this way we must help the weak and remember the words of the Lord Jesus, how he himself said, ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive.            Acts 20:31

Psalm 82:3-4 Give justice to the weak and the fatherless; maintain the right of the afflicted and the destitute. Rescue the weak and the needy; deliver them from the hand of the wicked.
