Birthday celebration!

Birthday celebration!

Judah will be 11 on June 7th and this is the first year he will not be an orphan for his birthday! So I wanted to celebrate. Wouldn't you? What better way to celebrate new freedom than to get him home!

Let's raise $1100.00 by his birthday to celebrate! From today until June 7th I would like to ask you to donate what you can in honor of Judah.  $1100.00 Should pay for most if not all of his airfare.

And if we reach our goal of 1100 we will have an iPad Mini (16gb) giveaway!  each dollar donated gets you one entry into the giveaway.  But there won't be a giveaway unless we meet our goal so spread the word!

Please help us bring our boys home. We are so close. We should have travel dates by his birthday and I want to be able to buy our tickets ASAP to get the best rate.

Day of Court

It's the day of court in my sons beautiful country. It is the night before in mine.

Adoption is like walking on water. You step out of the boat because you see Jesus and He says "Come." You start walking on the water. You can't believe it! It's happening. Then the enemy puts doubt in your mind. You look up and Jesus seems so far and the water seems so deep. You start to sink and in an instant there He is rescuing you.

What I love about that story is Jesus didn't get mad at Peter for sinking. He came to his aid the moment he doubted. He was upset with the guys in the boat that never had the courage to get out.

So tonight when I had nothing to do and no control over the situation it freaked me out for a minute. I took my eyes off of Jesus saw how deep the water could get and got a little afraid. But then He came to my side so quickly. I began to pray and seek and praise and worship. The anxiety and fear and doubt went away and the Spirit of the Lord filled this place. And where the Spirit of The Lord is there is freedom. Freedom from doubt, worry, anxiety and unbelief.

I love my Jesus. I love how close He gets. I love how He has never left me or forsaken me. How He stays beside me closer than a brother. I love how he goes to Papa on my behalf. I love how I don't have to go through any 3rd party to talk to Jesus. I love the Holy Spirit and how I can feel Him. I love my prayer language and how God knows exactly what I am saying.

Adoption is tough. The waiting can really drain you. The fundraising and asking for money gets so old so fast and is so tiring.  Humbling and tiring.  The paper chase... ugh!   But my God  who called me to this,  who called you to it perhaps, is right there with me and you. He can bring you peace. He can bring you comfort. Just let Him.

Be blessed

Court date

Well folks we got it! The illusive court date! Drum roll please
(How do I type a drum roll?)
Blllll....no drrrrrrrrr... Brrrrrr.... Ok this isn't working so just insert drum roll here please.

MAY 28th!!!

Yay!!

If you know my family at all you know that date has such significance. That is Noah's gotcha day! And it's the day before my birthday.

God is so good.  I am so excited, but I have to be honest..I wasn't surprised.

This weekend was hard. Just really missed my boys and was tired in the waiting. Well Sunday morning came and my Papa held me close. All the worship was about freedom. I knew God was doing something.  I felt such utter peace. I was basking in His  glory. I was being held by my Papa and I didn't want to leave.  The service was amazing and most of the congregation was drunk in the Spirit.  The rest of the day was busy but beautiful and we went back to church that night wanting more. And we got it!!!!

I knew that I knew that I knew our court date would be this week. I said it would be Monday. When that didn't happen I didn't get discouraged I went to my Papa expecting. Papa, tomorrow! I believe it! And here it is tomorrow.

I heard the email noise and my eyes weren't even open as I scrolled through the 26 messages. It wasn't there.  Went back to sleep. Woke up again and it was there and actually had been there earlier I just didn't see it.

Immediately I said "You are so good! God you are so good to me."

We are missing a document from the orphanage or CPS there, but God will bring it. Please pray for that.

Also pray for the money to come in. We can not pick them up if the money isn't there.  Pray it comes in.

Thank you all so much.

Not for a moment did He forsake me

Misha and Judah saw me and yelled Mama with smiles on their faces. They ran to my open arms and seconds before I embraced them, I woke up.

I rushed to check my email....nothing.

Lord, today is Cherry's birthday. Help me be present with my children today when all I want to do is go back to my dreams where my boys are.

I made a decision. Today I would be present for them. I laid back down since it was early to try to get a few more minutes of rest. Cherry came running in " it's my birthday!!!" I got all excited for her and loved on her a bit. Then she went out to eat and I needed to shower and the email dinged on my phone.

"Your dossier is in court! Not only is it in court, but its been there since before the long holiday. Hopefully it will be assigned to a judge today. Pray for a good one!"

Glory to God in the highest. I immediately started sobbing and praising God through my happy tears. Not for a moment did you forsake me Lord! Everyday I prayed. I told Papa about a week ago that I was going to be like the lady in the Bible that went to the judge everyday for justice. At some point my persistence would get my prayers answered I told Him. I said that judge didn't care like you do! He just didn't want to deal with her anymore. But I know You care. Everyday! I prayed every morning. Not just a blah blah blah but I meant every word. My heart would pour out to Papa and I knew my breakthrough was coming. He told me those boys were mine. I just kept praying.

So rejoice with us! Pray for us also. We need about 6000.00 in travel expenses. Mainly airfare. Pray for a good judge and quick date. We are praying to having them home before Judah's 11th birthday which is in June.

Thank you!!

Agency fees!

For those of you not on Facebook this week is what I lovingly am referring to as hell week. Everyday it got a bit worse. By Friday I was so worn and spent I thought sleeping for a month wouldn't even help. I was a shell of myself. Every day I prayed pretty much without ceasing. I prayed for God to help, some way, some how, please Lord I can't do this. Take it from me. Towards the end of the week we started to get donations. After each donation was an attack from the enemy. Still I praised the One who already won the war!  I prayed and praised.

On Friday our littlest girl was very sick. She had 103 fever and no other symptoms. I prayed over her and took her to the dr. They did bloodwork and needed her to pee for them to check it. The blood work came back bad. She had a bacteria infection but I'm what or where? We needed a urine sample in order to find out but after 16 trips down the hall to the bathroom for nothing we were told they would have to take her to the local children's hospital. She would need an IV and catheter. I explained that to her. One last time we went to the bathroom to try. I got everyone I knew to pray with me. Pray for pee!!! She went. Thank you Jesus! She had a horrible UTI and kidney infection. She needed a shot of antibiotics and repeat labs the next morning but we could go home with strict orders to take her straight to the ER if her fever spiked.

Saturday morning she woke up in good spirits feeling much better and her labs were better.  Then Paul checked his email and our debt card was used at 3am on Walmart.com for dixi cups and phone cards totaling over 100.00. Sigh. So our morning was spent trying to clean up that mess. But God is good. Later in the day we had a family come to us and tell us that God told them to give us money for our adoption. The amount he told them was 400.00 talk about sacrificial giving!!! I would love to walk up to someone and hand them 400.00!!!!! They cried. I excused myself to cry in private. I could not believe it. God is so good and His people are too. How wonderful to have such beautiful people in my life  who are so obedient to God. I am humbled.

Now what does this mean? Well next week we will send out our final payment to our agency. Then all we need is travel money. Plane tickets for the boys and one for me and my oldest daughter. She will be coming with me to pick them up so I can have some help with them.  So it would be amazing if you prayed for us.

Specific prayers
-for our boys health and safety
-for a signature and fast court date.
-for a pickup date before Judah's 11 th birthday in June.
-all travel expenses to come in.

Thank y'all so much. I pray that those who read this will be blessed and those who give and pray for us would be blessed beyond what they could ask for or imagine. In Jesus name! Amen.

Be blessed

Almost

We are so close to having our agency fees paid off. We need about 400.00 and then all the agency fees will be paid! What does this mean? This means all we have left to pay would be the travel. That is HUGE!!

On Sunday The Lord told me that my provisions were coming, they were on their way. I believed Him, really I did. Then satan showed up with circumstances. But still I praised and prayed. And now here we are getting the donations we need to pay off the adoption. God said in Psalms that He would not break His covenant or alter the words coming out of His lips. I am so blessed to have a Papa who not only loves me but loves my children.

I am also so extremely blessed to know all of you who have given to our adoption. Thank you. Please know I pray over every donation that comes in. I pray for The Lord to bless you and I know He will. Thank you so much for living and supporting my family!

Be blessed
