Thanksgiving this year was spent at home mourning the loss of our beautiful dog Toby. There was no way to get to Pa so we went to the store and grabbed stuff to make thanksgiving dinner. It turns out that friends of ours had no plans either so they graciously came over to keep us company.
Paul cooked an amazing meal. He brined the turkey, made all the fixins and a pumpkin pie from scratch. I made a caramel apple pie from scratch. Our friends brought corn soufflé which I had never had before but man is it delicious. All the kids played outside together and had a wonderful time. I only cried once.
Judah had everything we made pureed in the ninja and ate his meal that way. It wasn't a great color but tasted great and he enjoyed it.
Misha had a little bit of everything too. He was able to eat his like the rest of us. Both boys even had pie. Neither were too thrilled about it. They also both hate olives and Misha doesn't much care for pickles either.
All in all we had a beautiful day and feel so very blessed.
